Red River to celebrate Homecoming October 24

Excitement is building at Red River High School as the Bulldogs prepare to celebrate Homecoming with a full week of events leading up to their big game against district rival Many High School on Friday, October 24. Kickoff is set for 7pm at Pat Strother Memorial Stadium, where fans will gather to cheer on the Bulldogs in an exciting district matchup.

As part of the tradition, Red River has announced its 2025 Homecoming Court, featuring outstanding students who embody the school’s spirit, leadership, and excellence. These students will be formally honored during the Coronation Ceremony on Tuesday, October 21, at 2pm in the school’s gymnasium.

This year’s Homecoming will also include a special recognition of all graduating classes ending in ’5, welcoming alumni back to campus to celebrate milestone reunion years. Former students are encouraged to attend, reconnect with classmates, and take part in this meaningful celebration of Bulldog pride and tradition.

In addition to the game and coronation, Homecoming Week will feature several more events:

  • Tuesday: College and Career Fair 9-10:30am & Blood Drive 9am-12pm

  • Wednesday: Parade rolls at 5pm from the school to the stadium & Pep Rally at 6pm  

  • Thursday: Parent Teacher Conference 4-6pm

  • Friday: Parent Teacher Conference 8am-12pm

  • Saturday: Homecoming Dance 6pm
