Once again, on Hwy 177 at Bayou Pierre, a large alligator posed a traffic hazard for motorists. Sheriff deputies were on hand Thursday afternoon to keep everyone safe and attempt to turn the gator back into an open field.

So why did the alligator cross the road?   He was probably searching for his one true love.
