At the beginning of the 2024–2025 school year, Red River Junior High 6th graders set individual goals for their LEAP 2025 assessments. Teachers encouraged students to aim high and promised a reward for those who worked hard and met their goals.
When test scores came back, many students had achieved the targets they set for themselves—and they didn’t forget the promise of a celebration. True to their word, the 6th grade teachers delivered. Digging into their own pockets, these dedicated educators provided a pizza party for their students to celebrate their success.
The event was more than just pizza—it was a reminder that hard work pays off, and that teachers are willing to go above and beyond to keep their students motivated and recognized.
