
The Red River Crusade & Concert is slated for July 20-23 in the Red River High School gym. Doors open at 6pm on Sunday and 5:30pm the rest of the week. The event begins at 6:30pm each night. Speaker is Gevan Spinney, Pastor of First Baptist Church Haughton. Music provided by Jason Lovins Band. A free meal will be provided Monday-Wednesday nights.
Steve’s Snaketuary will teach a local snake identification and pet snake care class a the Red River Parish Library July 24, 2025 from 2-4pm. See five snakes and get all of your snake questions answered.
Martin Baptist Church is hosting a FREE kid’s clothes giveaway. Sizes 4-12. Saturday, July 26 from 10am until 12pm. Clothing will include school uniforms.
Save Lydia Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 26 at Northwestern Hills Golf Course starting at 8am. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, longest drive and closest to the hole. In early 2024, Lydia was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a neurodegenerative disease that is like Alzheimer’s in children. She will lose all the skills she has gained in her short life, suffer seizures and movement disorders, and eventually die in her teens. Currently, there is no FDA-approved treatment or cure. Your participation in this event helps fund research that will help children with Sanfilippo Syndrome like Lydia Rachal. To register or donate click here.
