Krewe of Demeter Parade will roll on Jan 26 at 3pm, rain or shine. Hwy 171 will be a NO THROW Zone so do not line up on Hwy 171. Masked Krewe members will be throwing beads and cups (NO CANDY) along the route. Staging at DeSoto Parish 4-H Barn turning right onto Independence Avenue then turning right onto Liberty Lane ending past the ballpark at Hwy 171. ALL DAY TAILGATING ENCOURAGED. NSU Baseball will hold its annual auction Jan 25 inside Prather Coliseum. This year’s auction also will include the retirement of David Fry’s No 1. Doors open at 6pm for cocktail hour. Dinner will be served at 7pm followed by the program. The 2025 Demons will be introduced to the crowd and guests will have the opportunity to bid on numerous auction items. Proceeds from the event benefit all areas of the Northwestern State baseball program, including the continuing improvements at Brown-Stroud Field.
