Former Coushatta resident arrested for computer aided solicitation

The Natchitoches Police Department arrested Reginald Hobley (B/M, 28 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) for computer aided solicitation of a minor after receiving a tip earlier this morning.

On January 4, 2025 around 1:09 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 5100 block of University Parkway in reference to a call received from a non-profit organization that targets child predators. Upon officers arrival they made contact with a representative from, Bikers Against Predators, who was able to provide digital evidence that described the suspects intentions to meet with an underage individual at a local hotel.

Reginald Hobley was placed under arrest for computer aided solicitation of a juvenile and was placed in the LaSalle Detention Center of Natchitoches.

Officers on scene were able to retrieve several pieces of digital and forensic evidence that will he turned over to the Cyber Fraud Division of the Natchitoches Police Department for further analysis.

The Natchitoches Police Department would like to thank Bikers Against Predators for providing the information needed to make this arrest. B.A.P.’s mission is to expose online predators to help spread awareness and education to as many citizens as possible while having these predators face justice for their crimes.”
