Ruston has a jam-packed weekend ahead. The Christmas parade rolls at 6pm today. The route begins at the Ruston High parking lot and travels to Alabama Ave, then to Monroe Street, to the Service Road South back down James Street. Christmas at the Complex will host a holiday movie and ice skating at the Ruston Sports Complex (indoor facility) today. Tomorrow, Cookies and Cocoa with Santa from 9am to 11am, as well as ice skating from 12pm to 5pm (skates will be provided). Also the Ruston Farmers Market is Saturday from 9am-1pm. Events are free to the public.

Bethel Baptist Church will host a Candlelight Service December 22 at 6pm.

Minden churches will host The Live Nativity this Christmas Season in downtown Minden on Saturday, December 21 from 5:30-9pm. It is free and open to the public. It is a walkable event with multiple stations to experience the journey through Bethlehem with the birth of Jesus Christ. Golf Carts will be available to those unable to walk the route. 

First Methodist Church Coushatta invites everyone to Christmas Eve Service “The Songs of the Advent” on December 24 at 4pm.
