Bethel Baptist Church Youth group will hold a bake sale Saturday, November 23 at Rivertown Market beginning at 8:30am. Money raised will help those in need during the holiday season.

Victorious Life Ministries is hosting a Fall Revival: Sow…Seek…Reap November 24-26. Sunday, November 24 at 10am, Ms. Lesa Thompson. Monday, November 25 at 7pm, Pastor Jimmie Mitchell and Tuesday, November 26 at 7pm, Pastor Ronnie Williams.

The Converse Country Christmas Festival kicks off Friday, November 29 with the lighting of the tree with cookies and hot cocoa at 6pm. Saturday, November 30 has a full day of events. Pancake breakfast from 8-10am at the Council on Aging. The parade begins at 11am. Pictures with Santa from 12-1pm. Special guest appearances from the Grinch, Mrs. Claus and Santa’s elves. There will also be music, food, shopping, crafts and vendors.

The 7th Annual Reindeer Run at Castor High School will be held Monday, December 9. Gate opens at 5pm. The event is a fundraiser for the track, cross country, and softball programs. All participants must have a current year event shirt to enter (there is more to do than just run for both the young and young at heart!) The online link is open until November 25.
