Applications available at Riverdale Academy for teaching positions

Riverdale Academy is looking for teachers to fill the following positions:

            1st grade teacher

7th and 8th grade science and math teacher.

Interested people should call 318-471-5155 to arrange an interview.

When looking for a dynamic school for your children, keep in mind that Riverdale has made dramatic improvement in internet access being provided through Starlink, an Elon Musk company.  Through Starlink, several hundred internet users can be online at one time without experiencing diminished speed.

The English language arts curriculum for grades K through 4 is being completely revamped. Students will use a Christian-based, academically rigorous curriculum designed by Bob Jones University (BJU) Press.

For high school students, Riverdale Academy will be partnering with Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College  (NLTCC).  We will be able to better serve our students by providing those who are not traditional college-bound students the opportunity to work towards a career, certification, or degree in welding, plumbing, instrumentation, becoming an electrician, automotive technology, HVAC, heavy equipment operation, nursing, barber styling, and many more.

These dual enrollment classes will be open to juniors and seniors online and in person a few days a week. Students will still be expected to keep up with any missed on-campus classes as they continue to work towards earning their high school diploma.

School will be back in session on August 9, with NLTCC beginning shortly thereafter. Please call 318-471-5155 to arrange a school tour.
