On June 27, 2024, Judge Luke Mitchell administered the Oath of Office to Sheriff Glen T. Edwards, signifying the beginning of his fourth consecutive term as sheriff of Red River Parish.

In turn, Sheriff Edwards administered the oath to his departmental staff.

The new term officially began July 1, 2024.

Sheriff Edwards and the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office are thankful for the opportunity to serve the residents of Red River Parish for another four years.
