The DeSoto Parish Extension Office is holding a Pipeline Safety event in DeSoto Parish.

Louisiana 811 has partnered with the LSU Ag Center-DeSoto Parish Extension Office to bring this interactive meeting to life. 

It is a free event and will be held Thursday, July 11 from 9-11am at the David Means Memorial 4-H Center in Grand Cane. 

Vendors are needed including pipeline operators, utilities, police jury, public works, agriculture, farmers, ranchers, DOTD, utility & construction contractors, emergency officials, and anyone interested in public safety and building relationships. Vendors are encouraged to set up an exhibit table and donate door prizes.

The following parishes are included in this event: DeSoto, Red River, Sabine, Caddo
