The LSU AgCenter office has relocated to 1919 Alonzo Street and will have an Open House May 28th from 4-6:30 PM. The AgCenter is proud to have the personnel available to help Red River Parish with needs in the following areas: Livestock – Josh Salley, Lawns, landscapes, and vegetable gardens – Mark Wilson,  Nutrition and Community Health – Jessica Salley, Row Crops – Randall Mallette / Parish Chair and 4-H Youth Development – Jacque Fontenot. Sibley Lake is closed until further notice. All boat ramps are closed as of Monday, May 13 due to high water levels.

First Baptist Church Coushatta will host a Kids Fun Night on Wednesday, May 22 from 5-7pm in the Family Life Center.  There will be a free hotdog dinner and time of fun Chagy the Clown. Kids PreK4-6th grade are invited to attend.
