Roman Collins’ name was called in the first hour of American Idol Sunday night. His introduction video featured his father, Hosea Collins in a sermon that praised the miracle of Roman’s recovery from a coma at the age of 3.

Collins took to the stage and sang Marvin Sapp’s “Never Would Have Made It”. He was praised for his vocal talent and his ability to have the entire crowd on their feet for this gospel song.
