Northwestern State University has several spirit groups that play a vital part in keeping the energy at its highest at campus events, as well as functions held in the Natchitoches community.

The audition process allows participants to audition for more than one group. An experienced panel of judges will be available to help participants choose the group that best suits them and their style of cheer or dance.

All material needed for auditions will be taught on the day of auditions except if noted in the individual group information.

These positions come with scholarships, so students with cheer and dance experiences are encouraged to audition.

To audition for Northwestern State University Spirit Groups, you must be admissible to the university, complete the application form(s) and medical release form and return before the audition date.
