Governor Edwards will be giving a farewell address, from 6:30-8pm, to the people of Louisiana on the evening of Wednesday, January 3rd, in Amite, Louisiana, and you are invited! To attend you should to RSVP at gov.louisiana.gov/farewell.

Santa will be at Martin Village Hall on Friday, December 15 from 6-8pm.

The LSU AgCenter and Red River Research Station will host a Farmer’s Market on Saturday, December 16 from 9am – 12pm at 262 Research Station Drive in Bossier. If you would like to participate as a vendor there are NO fees. Bring the kiddos and take pics with Santa and all the wonderful Christmas displays at “The Big Red Barn.”

Social Springs Baptist Church will host its annual Choral Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 5pm, followed by Mark Lanier and world-renowned pianist Andrew Ishee presenting a Christmas Concert. A love offering will be received and refreshments will be served.
