Pictured is Jerry Lane Hester of Coushatta with the 11.2 pound bass he caught on June 29 on Grand Bayou Reservoir. He says this is the biggest fish he has ever caught on this lake (and he’s caught a lot of fish at GBR!) 

Hester plans to have a replica of the fish made under Grand Bayou Resort’s Lunker program. The resort and Grand Bayou Reservoir District will pay for replicas of any fish caught at the lake over 10 pounds. If the fisherman wants a replica, the fish must first be officially weighed by resort personnel, then returned to the lake alive and in good condition.
