Red River 4-H hosted an Outdoor Skills Fishing Workshop at Grand Bayou on June 3rd. Students practiced skills such as fish ID, casting and knot typing, and learned more about fishing equipment and Louisiana fishing. They ended the day fishing at the pier.
This workshop was an introduction to the focus for this year’s Red River 4-H Explorer’s project club. Each month students in grades 1-6 will learn more about fishing. Thanks so much to Grand Bayou Resort for hosting this fun day!
