4-H announcement: Monday, May 22 at 4:00pm we will present 4-H awards at the Coushatta park to the Red River club members.

Memorial Sunday is May 21 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. The church posted that a potluck lunch would follow the Worship service, which begins at 10:30 am.

SOCIAL MEDIA POST CIRCULATING IN NATCHITOCHES AREA IS A “SCAM”

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and NPSO High Tech Crime Unit has been made aware of a social media post circulating in Natchitoches, Red River and surrounding parishes of a child being reportedly found on the side of the road in the Natchitoches area and efforts are being made to the find the parents.

This post is FALSE INFORMATION and a SCAM.  Info from the Natchitoches Sheriff’s Office.
