Several Easter Egg Hunts are planned around the parish between now and Easter.  On Friday, the Journal will publish the list of all community and church Easter Egg Hunts to which the public is invited.  Send information on your egg hunt to RedRiverParishJournal@gmail.com.

This weekend there is a Momentum Conference Praise and Worship revival at House of Refuge Ministry, 2423 Springville Road.  Speakers Friday and Saturday nights are Pastor Richard Logan, Sr. and Dr/ Donyea Hargrove.  Services begin at 7:00 pm both nights.

Red River High Cheer tryout dates have changed to April 18th, 19th, and 20th. Tryouts will be held in the Junior high school gym from 3:30 to 5:30 pm each day.

Sunday April 2^nd will be the Pastor & Wife Anniversary at Deliverance Temple Church.  Dr. Richard Logan, Sr. will be the guest preacher as the church celebrates the 44^th anniversary of Pastor Jimmie and Lady Thelma Mitchell.  Deliverance Temple is located at 1908 Jones Street.

Revival is underway this week through Friday night at Social Springs Baptist Church.  Musical guests are Lindley Creek.  Bro. James Hester is bringing the nightly messages.

Budding filmmakers will now have an option of adding a film minor to their studies at Northwestern State University. The new minor, which begins in the Fall 2023 semester, is a combination of production and theoretical courses in three departments: English, Language and Cultural Studies, Fine + Graphic Arts, and the Department of New Media, Journalism and Communication Arts. A variety of existing courses will count toward the minor, including film history, new media design and documentary production.

From Red River 4-H: The judges are ready to see all of the Red River 4-H Pets.  Come out Saturday to show off your pet, small to large, at the Red River Fairgrounds livestock barn at 1:45!  If you aren’t able to bring your animal, enter the digital category by sending Mrs. Jacque a video.
