The high school golf and baseball teams said, “We would like to send out a huge thank you to this Red River and Coushatta Community for supporting our Sausage Dog Fundraiser this last week. The RRHS/RRJH softball and golf teams, parents, administration and support staff worked hard to make this a successful day. We hope that everyone enjoyed the tasty lunch, and we appreciate everyone that bought a lunch plate and/or made a donation.”
From the Junior High, “How do you make a cross curricular impact on school wide goals? We integrate Math into P.E.” Coach Hogan and Coach Gary had students finding the area and perimeter of the volleyball court recently before learning how to accurately set and serve on the court.
Red River 4-h was well represented in an area competition. Xander Loftin brought back lots of awards from the LRBA Fall Fest Show in West Monroe.
