In their first game, the Lady Rebels fell to Delta Academy 16-9. Hanna Catherine Huddleston and Jadyn King both had a single and a double and scored a run each, with King having a stolen base and 2 RBIs. Chloe Jordan was 2 for 4 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. Jessie Kate Cobb had 2 hits and 3 RBIs, and Emma Clemons had a hit and scored a run. On Monday, the Lady Rebels faced SIA and avenged their loss to them at South AA last week, winning by a score of 5-3 in extra innings. Cobb picked up another win, allowing 7 hits and striking out 14 batters. Riggs tripled and singled with an RBI. King doubled and scored a run. Cobb had 2 hits, and Clemons tripled with 2 RBIs. Donald, Jordan, and Smith each had singles, with Smith scoring a run. Huddleston had an RBI, and Giddings had 2 stolen bases. This win set them up to play a tough Hebron Christian team.

The Lady Rebels trailed Hebron Christian 10-1 after 3 innings, but in true Rebel fashion, they fought their way back, going into the bottom of the 7th inning tied at 12-12. Hebron managed to get a run across and defeated the Lady Rebels 13-12, ending their season. Huddleston singled and doubled with an RBI and had a stolen base. King singled and scored a run, while Cobb singled and scored two runs. Riggs doubled 3 times, had 4 RBIs, and scored a run. Donald doubled with an RBI and a run scored. Clemons doubled and singled twice, picked up 3 stolen bases, and scored 2 runs. Smith singled with an RBI and scored 2 runs. Chloe Jordan singled and hit a homerun, picking up 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs.

Seniors Emma Clemons and Jessie Kate Cobb have had great careers as Lady Rebel softball players, and their talent and leadership will be greatly missed next year. Great season, girls!
