4-H members at Red River Junior High participated in the national 2021 4-H STEM challenge, Galactic Quest. They looked at lenses and built telescopes to study constellations. Other activities included games, learning about cybersecurity, and building a cosmic claw.
4-H Agent Jacque Fontenot said, “I’ve met some of the best students this week!” At Red River Elementary they worked on the 4-H 2021 Stem Challenge and celebrated being unique with the children’s story “Chrysanthemum” and fingerprint animals.
Fontenot said, “Thank you to Red River Parish School Board for letting 4-H be a part of intercession. And next time you see a teacher, please give them praise for all of their extremely hard work. They are true heroes.”
