By Christy Suggs

Red River High School had their home season opener against Arcadia High School.  Bulldog Elijah Harper scored first at 9:42 in the first quarter with a pass from QB Tre Smith. An 80 yard interception by Stanley Sibley put Red River in the red zone and allowed another touchdown. They ended the 1st quarter with a score of 14 to 0.

Three TDs were scored in the 2nd quarter all by completed passes. The Dogs went to halftime leading 35-0.  Stanley Maxie had a forced fumble in the 2nd quarter.

During the fourth quarter the Bulldogs scored a combined 14 points. Thanks to a rushing touchdown by Tyler Hughes and a passing TD caught by Christopher Gay.
