ETC… for Wednesday September 15th

From Red River Cowboy Church is a reminder- we will be having a meeting this Sunday after church for anyone who wants to help and be involved with our Focus conference!

There is a huge need for people all over and all day. Everything from floating around making sure things flow, serving food, help with livestock, help with games/stations, setting up and taking down, the after party, praying with teens in the war room, registration table and handing out shirts… the list is endless so there will be def be something for everyone!

The Coushatta Ducks Unlimited Dinner is Thursday night.  It will be held at the Coushatta Country Club.  Tickets are $50 and include all food and beverages plus a one year membership to DU.

Northwestern State University’s Greek Centennial Celebration, which was scheduled to take place in conjunction with Homecoming festivities Oct 21-22, has been postponed to April 8-9, 2022.  The new date coincides with Flavor of Louisiana, NSU’s popular spring seafood extravaganza.

U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) has once again ranked Louisiana Tech University as a Top Tier National University in its 2022 Best Colleges list released Tuesday. Louisiana Tech was also ranked No. 140 on the USNWR list of Top Public Schools, up from 174 in the 2021 rankings.  Tech ranked second among public universities in the state of Louisiana on the National Universities list.

“I am proud of how our University has responded to the challenges associated with the pandemic in the last academic year,” said Dr. Les Guice, Louisiana Tech President. “We’ve continued to increase retention and graduation rates while attracting the most qualified students in our state and nation to Louisiana Tech.
