The Journal received a message Thursday “The knot is tied.” It was from Rev. Curtis Carroll, former minister at First Church and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Churches. Curtis and Galina are married.
Carroll messaged that they were wed in Playa Del Carmen in Cancun Mexico at 10:30 am Thursday August 12, 2021. And they will honeymoon until the 21st.
Next, they will work on the immigration process for Galina to come be with Curtis where he serves Clinton and Clear Creek United Methodist Churches in southeast Louisiana.
Carroll served as pastor in Coushatta for several years before being assigned to the churches in the Florida parishes. Carroll was in Coushatta for his high school years about 40 years ago and he is a graduate of Coushatta High.
