Dustin Lasyone , Devin St. Julien and Isaac Wade representing Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge were at Rivertown Market last Friday and Saturday. They passed out information about their program seeking more participants.
They also held a fundraiser to help more participants. They brought handmade items such as salsa, blueberry jam, their own Broken Bean brand of coffee. There were several varieties that they roast, grind and pack themselves. Also available were air fresheners and candles made by them.
Lasyone said, “Our mission is to help people off drugs and alcohol and stay off the streets. Adult and Teen Challenge offers faith based solutions. Somebody did it for us and we’re here to help somebody else.”
