The Laude System is used at RRHS to recognize a student’s total course load over 4 years of work not just GPA or class rank. A Laude graduate must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA plus a Laude score of 16-30.5 Cum Laude (Honor), 30.6-46.9 Magna Cum Laude (Great Honor), or 47 Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honor). Laude scores come from taking the more rigorous courses, Dual Enrollment, AP/CLEP exams, ACT scores, and jumpstart credentials.
A video featuring these graduates is at the bottom of this article. It was furnished by Red River High.
