Danny Wayne Driggers was born on October 26, 1949 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away in his home on December 3, 2020 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He enjoyed being outdoors and was always a country boy at heart. Danny grew up in Coushatta, LA and lived most of his adult years in Keithville, LA. As a child, he enjoyed raising his hogs and farming with his father. Danny enjoyed hunting and during deer season, you would expect he was at the deer camp every chance he got, and he often took one of his girls with him. He was a family man and truly loved spending time with his children. One of his passions was traveling, which he enjoyed doing with his family. Out of all the places he went, Colorado was his favorite and he traveled there many times. One of his favorite areas in Colorado he called “Driggers mountain” and it was in that area he killed his first elk deer. That elk came back to Louisiana with him and he hung that on the wall with pride.

Danny started working as a service technician in 1972 with AT&T and retired in 2002 after 30 years of service. He married Janise Marie Field on January 26, 1973 after he met her in Monroe, LA. They had two daughters, Brandy and Kristy. He truly loved his family, and he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
