Coushatta resident Josh Loftin is joining the ministry.  He has been in school in the Dallas area for the past two years.  This week he posted an invitation to the community.

Hello family and friends, a very special day is coming up on October 11th! In Coushatta, Louisiana at my home church, Open Door Fellowship, I will be becoming an Ordained Minister!

This will be a very special day and an important one for my future ministry. Everyone is invited! The ceremony will be at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary.

Josh will be familiar to many Journal Sports listeners.  He has served as the voice of the Red River Bulldog football and girls and boys basketball broadcasts during the past three years.  The photo with this article is Josh preparing to bring listeners a Bulldog football game.
