
Graveside services for Gladys Marie Williams, 77, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Roger Reliford officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel.
A precious life came to a close on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 when a Heavenly angel came to accompany Gladys Williams to eternal rest. She was the daughter of Luther and Gladys Williams. She was born January 12, 1943 in Beaumont, TX. At an early age, Gladys accepted Christ. She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Gladys Williams; brothers, Cecil Williams and Jackie Williams.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Jimmy Williams; daughters, Betty Sue Gray (Russell), Debra Crocker (Buddy), Peggy Bailey (Jerry Slaughter), Colinda Crocker, Lydia Vines (Jimbo); and one son, Steven Vines (Melissa); grandchildren: Jennifer Procell, Julie Gardner, Tama Demery (Donald Roy), Ashley Bailey, Stoney Slaughter, Savannah Vines and Kaden Vines; brothers, Bo Williams (Elsie), Johnny Williams, James Williams (Joyce), Kenny Williams, Albert Williams (Carla) and Jerry Wayne Williams (Susan); one sister, Wanda Welborn (Donny Walker); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Mathews, Winston Reliford, Zachery Reliford, Michael Shagun, Jimmy Williams, Jr., and Michael Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Vines and Kaden Vines.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cason, Hospice of Natchitoches, and Misty Morgan. Also, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and encouraging words during our difficult time.
