Brenda Latour

Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Cloud Latour, 66, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Westbrook officiating.  Interment will follow in Clear Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home.

Brenda was born August 12, 1953 in Ringgold, LA and passed away July 12, 2020 in Coushatta, LA..  She grew up in Ashland, LA and graduated from Castor High School in 1971.

She married Dennis Latour on August 18, 1972, and they made their home in Coushatta, LA, where they raised their family.  Brenda was an active member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for more than twenty-nine years.  She will be most remembered for the love and dedication that she showed for all of her family throughout her life.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Walter Welton Cloud; mother, Eva Sullivan Cloud; a brother, Gilbert Cloud; and sister, Carolyn Hay.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, Dennis Latour; three sons, Curtis Latour and wife, Georgia, Clayton Latour, and Clifton Latour and wife, Michaela; two brothers, Walter Cloud and Wendell Cloud; eleven grandchildren, Laney Latour, Madalyn Latour, Ethan Latour, Lillian Latour, Jay Latour, Jacob Latour, Dage Latour, Jonathon Rachall, Jeffery Rachall, Joshua Rachall, and Zachary Latour; two great grandchildren, Sammy Latour and Jeffery “J” Rachall, III.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice of Natchitoches, Haley Roberts, Dorcas Bernstein, Buster Jordan, Kasey Sparish, Melissa Britten, Dr. Josh Cason, Gina Nichols, Michaela Latour, and longtime neighbor and friend, Sheriff Glen Edwards.
