The monthly birthday party was held last Friday at Green Meadow Haven.  Six residents had birthdays during February and the occasion was celebrated with a party.

There was a rousing version of Happy Birthday sung by staff and residents.  It ended with a “And many more!”

Then the bright yellow lemon cake with white cream icing was presented.  Residents enjoyed generous slices of cake served with a big scoop of ice cream.

Residents celebrating birthdays in February are Evelyn Wimberly, Wille Brooks, Dora Beth Weaver, Alex Waldrup, Lemonia Miller and Verone Walker.  The Journal wishes them a very happy birthday.
