ETC… for Wednesday, March 4th

Musings:  The other day I stopped in a store out in the country that I only stop at occasionally.  While there I noticed a product that I rarely buy because it isn’t offered at the stores I usually frequent.  It was something sweet, of course.  I savored it after supper.  A little nibble and I discovered this fine cake had bits of orange rind in the mix.  Even better was a blob of white goo injected into the center.  I’ll go back to that store.  I’ll get another one of those treats.  Maybe two!  Out in the country.

Abundant Life Worship Center issued an invitation to their services Wednesday night.  They said Patrick Bumgardner will be ministering.  It’s part of Coffee and The Word on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.

Remember there will be no school tomorrow.  Public schools are dismissing so that staff and students can attend the girl’s semi-final playoff game in Lake Charles.

The old saying is if March roars in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb and vice versa.  We had a windy first day of March, but no roaring.  And the weather service told us the first of the month would be wet. Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms expected through the middle part of the work week with some areas receiving two to three inches of rainfall.
