Homecoming Festivities Moved to Saturday

By Hayley Loe

Along with the game last Saturday many alumni, faculty, and staff of Red River came out to support the Red River Bulldogs. The people who came to the tailgate enjoyed food, games, talking with past friends, and much more.

Last year’s homecoming queen Miss Allen crowned Miss Keyanna Winn for 2019’s homecoming queen.  The 2019 Homecoming King is Isiash Demease. Winn was surprised by her selection and almost fell out into a happy dance.

During the game many alumni were asked to stand in recognition of the Bulldogs that came before us. Even though the Bulldogs didn’t win the game it still allowed many past memories, along with the past generations being able to reminisce on whenever they played football or went to the school, and so much more to be brought back to our community.

Red river will hold a homecoming dance Saturday, November 2nd for RRHS students. The dance will be in the high school gymnasium.
