The Red River Bulldogs find themselves in the position of setting the pace in the race for the district crown. The boys and girls teams are both vying for a slot in upcoming playoff brackets.
But first they have to get past Lakeview!
Red River Principal J.C. Dickey posted on February first:
“Here we go again Red River Bulldogs vs Lakeview Gators Friday Feb. 8th 5pm at NSU Prather Coliseum. Tickets go on sale 8am at Red River Office. We have 500 tickets to sale at $10 a piece. We sold 900 tickets in 4 days for the last game so better be quick. Game will decide the district championship for the boys. Let’s see how many Bulldogs we can put in the gym.” The Journal checked with the High School office on Tuesday afternoon and there are still tickets available for the big game.
Journal Sports will be at Prather Coliseum to bring you the play-by-play. Girls game begins about 6:00 pm and the boys game will start about 7:00. Our broadcast link will be up a few minutes before tip-off.
