The “Methodist Men” group at Coushatta First United and Wesley Chapel Methodist Churches is holding a toy drive with a twist. They are collecting toys for the children of the men incarcerated at the Red River Parish Jail. The men signed up to sponsor a child and will bring the toys to breakfast Monday morning, December 18th. They will be picked up by the Sheriff’s Office. The men in jail will have a gift to give to their child on visitor’s day. The Methodist Men wanted to make sure the children of prisoners aren’t forgotten this Christmas.
