CP-Tel is here! Engineers and technicians from CP-Tel are working to install their distribution box in the center of Coushatta. The company is bringing fiber optic cable to our community.

Workers tell the Journal they hope to be offering their service by late this year. Among services offered will be home phone, cable TV and high speed internet.

The pictures with this article show the distribution box that is being installed on Ringgold Ave behind Pizza Hut and a private residence. A technician this week showed how small the fibers are when he split a piece of cable. This one contains 6 fibers. He said each one could serve up to 12 homes. The cable being brought to Coushatta up US 71 from Campti can serve hundreds of homes.
