A couple of quick notes…
The Journal welcomes home Dan Pickett with his wife Kelly, Son Doss and Daughter Elizabeth. They were welcomed at the school board meeting Monday night. Dan is the new Director of Child Welfare and Attendance and Transportation for the board. Dan was hired to replace Jerry Carlisle who retired at the end of the school year after serving our parish 45 years.

Paul’s Journey is coming Friday. This special program will be held at Social Springs Baptist Church Friday evening, June 16th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.
