A funeral service celebrating the life of Martha Lou Morgan, 79, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta with Bro. John Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit. The family will receive friends on the same day one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Morgan was born on September 29, 1944, in Coushatta, LA, to Fred and Minnie Dowden Moseley and passed away November 13, 2023, in Coushatta, LA.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Dowden Moseley; son, Fred Lavell Jones; sister, Sarah Moseley; brothers, Fred Daniel Moseley, Lavelle Moseley, and Jimmy Moseley. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Morgan; son, Earl Jackson Jones, III; sisters, Jane Moseley Powell and husband, Ken and Judy Moseley Bamburg; brothers, Walter Moseley and wife, Mary, Jack Moseley and wife, Sharon; Drew Moseley and wife, Terry and Paul Moseley and wife, Karen; grandsons, Tyler Jones and Hunter Jones; great-grandchildren, Emily Bish, Zoey Bish, Cooper Jones, Kyra Gelles and Hudson Jones and other relatives and friends.

Honoring Mrs. Morgan as pallbearers will be Walter Moseley, Paul Moseley, Jack Moseley, Jason Moseley, Drew Moseley and Allen Bamburg. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ken Powell and Kennon Gaspard.
