NSU will host CLE sessions Nov. 17

Northwestern State University’s School of Business is offering courses in Continuing Legal Education.  The School will offer one hour of Ethics, 1 hour in Professionalism and 1 hour of Law Office Management Friday, Nov. 17 in Russell Hall.

The cost is $250 for the full session or $60 per credit hour. Proceeds go towards the School of Business Director’s Fund.

The schedule is as follows.

8 a.m. – Welcome

8:03 a.m. – Risk Management for Hospitality Organizations:  Focus on Food Safety with Dr. Valerie Salter, Ph.D., MHA, MAT, Northwestern State University

9:10 a.m.-10:10 a.m. – Workplace Privacy Law:  Development and Horizons with Hon. Joseph H.L. Montes, U.S. Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, Alexandria

10:20-11:20 a.m. – Financial Statements for Lawyers with Dr. Vianka Miranda, DBA, MBA, SHRM-SCP, LSSBB, QMPR, REB. Northwestern State University

11:20 a.m. – noon – Lunch Provided

12:05 p.m. – 1:05 p.m.  Professionalism with Mary Fair, Esq., MA. Carmella Parker, Esq., MBA. Northwestern State University

1:10 pm – 2:10 pm: Ethics. – Mary Beth Fair, Esq., MA, Northwestern State University
