The International Paper Red River Mill celebrated nine interns for completing a 12-week-long
summer internship program. The mill, located in Campti, selected the recent Red River High
School graduates to participate in the immersive program across the various departments in the
manufacturing environment.

During their internship, the students learned how to work safely and how different processes
work in a paper mill. At the end of their program, each participant was presented with a
certificate of completion and celebrated with a team lunch alongside all of their mentors. Out of
the nine there are five young men that are looking to continue their career with International
Paper.
