Seen pictured with Red River Parish Sheriff Glen Edwards, Captain David Hensley was promoted on August 8, 2023. He will assume the captain duties of overseeing the Criminal Investigations Division and Narcotics Unit. 

“Always in service to others” is the motto he lives by. 

Not only is he a 30-year law enforcement veteran, he is also a military veteran.
