Coushatta water system is still under a boil advisory. This afternoon, in discussions with the town, state, and governmental officials, the engineer gave an update on the progress of the new system. Although headway has been made to switch from the old system, we are still at least a week away from testing to even discuss lifting the boil advisory. Pressure is up in most places and fewer leaks have plagued the system this week. Unfortunately, that does not mean that we have a stable water system. Until the system is fully operational on the new system, and the pressure holds, there will be no testing for water quality.
