William Brown seeks Reelection

William Brown announced last week that he will be seeking re-election as District 1 Police Jury in the October 14 election. Brown said in his announcement that he wants to continue to serve the people of District 1 and the people of Red River Parish.

“I have worked to complete roadway projects, grants for improvements in the parish, and improvements to the courthouse. My greatest concern is to be a good steward of the taxpayer’s money and produce solutions that stay within budget.”

“In my tenure, we have solidified an up-to-date ambulance service, improved parish communications, and worked to make this parish viable for businesses.”

He indicated that the best way to improve the parish is to make sure our roads are sound and pave all dirt roads in the parish. The courthouse and parish buildings also need updating to meet the needs of our residents.

“District 1 is my home. I want to make the people of this district proud. I want to serve, listen, and act on the needs of the people.”
