Traffic in both directions on US 71 south of Coushatta at the Country Market was tied up during the drive to

work and school on Wednesday.  The roadway was blocked for almost an hour, resulting in long lines of vehicles in both directions.

EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement responded to the scene.  As the photo shows, both black cars were heavily damaged.
