Thirteen 7th & 8th graders and teen counselors from Red River 4-H attended Challenge Camp in January at Clara Springs camp. Challenge camp is a time for students to gain skills in teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution, while having fun and making new friends.
The theme of the camp was “Race Towards Success with 4-H.” Students played games, completed a scavenger hunt, built and raced a “car” with their team. They also learned about the many opportunities for high school students in 4-H, and several other activities.
