Red River Parish Assessor, Dovie Beard, has announced that the parish will display its real property and business personal records for free on actDataScout.com. For the real property search, users can search property records, view ownership and property details, and see where properties lie on an aerial map. For the business personal search, users can search and view business assessment information. All of these are accessible online via computers and mobile devices. The parish has entered into an agreement with DataScout, LLC, a GovTech applications development firm and web- based data solutions provider, to host and maintain the website and the records at actDataScout.com. The website is an informational portal to the Red River Parish Assessor’s office.
The ‘Public’ search has been significantly enhanced to keep up with technological advancements. The search features associated with the ‘Public’ version fulfill the needs of the majority of the public who visit the website for general searching. Public users will also enjoy advanced mapping capabilities through the DataScout OneMap viewer. The OneMap integrates Google base maps with reference layers, measuring tools, a ‘Locate Me’ feature for mobile devices, and print functions. Geared towards the real estate professional, actDataScout ‘Pro’ search has over 30 search fields, allows up to 500 parcel card views, access to the DataScout OneMap viewer, and more.
