Red River Elementary was honored Thursday with a visit from the Louisiana State Superintendent, Dr. Cade Brumley, our BESE representative Michael Melerine for BESE, and many of our RRPSB Board Members. We were recognized as a Louisiana Comeback Campus.
Our guests were greeted by students and even signed social contracts in the classrooms they visited. We are BULLDOG PROUD of the gains made by our students and staff!
What is a Louisiana Comeback Campus?
Louisiana Comeback Campuses are schools that increased the percentage of students scoring mastery and above and decreased the percentage of students scoring unsatisfactory in both math and ELA on statewide assessments when compared to 2019. The LDOE is recognizing the impact educators have made with students despite facing extraordinary obstacles over the past two years.
