The Quality Ford September Quality Kid award goes to Brent Danzy of Red River Junior High. His certificate and gifts were presented at the November School Board meeting.
Coach Sonia Hogan nominated Danzy. Her statement read, “Brent Danzy is my choice for the Quality Kid award for October. Brent is an eighth grader, and he displays excellent character, outstanding leadership, and he serves as a role model for others.
“He encourages other students to keep going and runs and exercises more after he completes his own routine. Coaches Hannish, Spatafora, Squires and Cunningham teach their football players how to display excellent sportsmanship and leadership. Brent Danzy has been concentrating on improving his leadership skills both on and off the football field.”
