The Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office is blessed to have several deputies who are also veterans of our US Armed Forces. On this special day, Sheriff Glen Edwards and staff would like to wish them, as well as all veterans across our nation, a Happy Veteran’s Day! We thank you for your service!
On Thursday, Sheriff Edwards, Chief Deputy Moore and others had the privilege of attending The 2022 Veteran’s Day Celebration at Red River Elementary School. It was an amazing program, and we appreciate the invitation!
Two of our deputies/veterans, Lt. Marvin Venious and Sgt. Lee Petersen, took part in the ceremony. Sheriff Edwards is pictured below with them. Several other pictures from the celebration are included as well.
